The optical distribution cabinet (ODC) is the concentration point of the access network. It houses splices, splitters and patch panels, and provides a controlled environment for cross-connection between feeder and distribution cables.

Key features

  • Splice trays and splitter mounting for organized fiber management.
  • Patch panel for cross-connection and testing.
  • Lockable, weather-resistant enclosure for outdoor use.
  • Scalable capacity for staged network growth.
Applications

Applications

Next-generation Optical Distribution Cabinet

The Abadis ODC is built from two main parts: the cabinet itself and its base. The compact form factor suits space-constrained sites, the body is steel with a corrosion-resistant coating and the capacity grows by adding trays. A galvanised rod-based foundation replaces the heavy concrete base and is held by soil friction and the weight of the overlying earth.

  • Compact formFits space-constrained environments
  • Durable bodySteel coated against harsh environmental conditions
  • ScalableAdd trays as the network grows
  • Advanced lockingPrevents unauthorised access
  • Easy installationSimplified process with complete guidelines
  • Light foundationNo concrete and no curing time; cheaper to ship and install
  • Corrosion resistantGalvanised rods for long-term stability
  • High capacityUp to 288 splices across front and rear sections
