Fiber projects are usually reported through a few indicators: homes passed, homes connected, and the length of route built. Reading these together shows whether a rollout is expanding coverage or mainly connecting subscribers already passed.
Coverage alone does not guarantee take-up. The connection rate depends on installation capacity, in-building wiring and the commercial offer, so operators that plan the last meters early reach activation targets sooner.
For suppliers, this means demand shifts between route construction, cabinets, microduct and blowing equipment as the project moves through its phases. Planning deliveries around those phases keeps sites supplied without excess stock.
